The Bond
I remember the first time I saw your face
When we first met: A vision so clear.
A day in my life I will always hold dear.
More than the four minute mile, or the first man in space
I can remember the time; remember the place.
Our bodies unite when I hold you near,
I dare not let go, lest you disappear.
That you came into my life is a sign of God’s grace.
I know in my heart, when we’re both old and grey,
I will still think back, and remember that day.
The connection we share must transcend time…
The bond is beyond all reason and rhyme.
O heart of my heart, love of my life…
Tis such a pity you’re another man’s wife!

So brave and inspiring. I like this particular kind of writing because I can feel the emotion, I can feel the honesty that you tried to put out. Very nice work, indeed. Hey, I am Ragazza, I hope you could follow my blog page if you don’t mind. Cheers! 🙂
