I love to write! I have since I was young. I have a few published poems in one of those coffee shop books. I also have a plethora of story ideas and beginnings.

I love description and bringing characters to life. Love making you feel like you’re there with them. I’ve been working on my first book since 2011. With a little inspiration from a dream and some survival skills I learned growing up,  I began constructing a world. I knew I wanted a post apocalyptic scenario, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted my disaster to be.  My fortification research took me to zombie site  where I met several really awesome people who really helped jump-start my book.  After a good chunk of the first draft had been written though, I hit a wall. I was stumped and uninspired to continue so I “shelved” the book.

It wasn’t until April of 2014 that I was inspired to continue writing. In two months I wrote over 25,000 words towards the first book in my to-be trilogy. This one is about new characters and in different setting, but it still takes place in the same apocalyptic universe

At the tail end of 2016 Refuge got another overhaul. I’m rewriting book one and have a start on book two. The Refuge Trilogy will feature: Ranch, Refuge, and Rescue(title tbd)

I have a ridiculous amount of side stories in the works. A wide range from elemental elves to a Nicholas Sparks-type romance. There are at least 10 stories I have to get around to. Eventually.

Once again I love feedback and want to hear from you! I look forward to sharing with you!
