Poetry by Katrina

“Fence”

Paths not meant

To merge

Met with indecision

Dragged feet

Bitten lips.

Stuck by wire

Cutting deep

One pries

Another pulls

Third breaks.

Shatters

Scattered

Carried away in wind

Swept away with leaves

River current

Free.
